The Kedah International Photography Awards  or KIPA was created to give both amateur and professional photographers the opportunity to travel to the state of Kedah to “capture the essence and beauty of Kedah” while addressing the “Google Gap” that exists between Langkawi and the rest of the state of Kedah. With the creation of the hashtag #ExperienceKedah over 2,200 entries were made and over 90 media mentions created over RM1,000,000 in public relations value for the state. Advancing Special Needs Education  the special needs education sector is so often put on the backburner, in developing countries especially, where there are limited resources and limited knowledge of how to best develop effective programs. We have taken the initiative to organise a series of Stakeholder Roundtables & Workshops. Themed “No One Gets Left Behind”, which comprises of industry players, local and international delegates, policy makers, parents, special needs practitioners and leading minds in this field, to bring this issue to the fore.
